About the Artist
Tiffany Cooper is a self-taught artist who artist with a love for working with acrylic paints and other mixed media to create vibrant, whimsical pieces with a soulful touch. The Florida resident incorporates rich Afro-Carribbean influences with contemporary, unconventional mixed media materials. Art is not meant to be perfect so Tiffany Cooper Art is a perfectly imperfect mixture of paint and layers of texture. Her art is about celebrating people of color, love and life.
Tiffany's passion for art is expressed through each of her pieces which are meant to convey emotion, reflection and meditation. It wasn't until recently, encouraged by family and friends over the years, that Tiffany began accepting invitations to share her art. In February 2017, she completed her first art showcase and vending experience at The Abbey in Orlando, FL during the Art of Love & Relationship sponsored by Women on the Rise Orlando.
Since then, Tiffany's work has been displayed at multiple events around the Tampa Bay area including Movement Through Poetry, BeBelle813's Fresh Face for Fall, Hillsborough County Center's Black History Month Celebration, Sacred Soiree, The Tampa Bay Black Heritage Festival, Smudged Life x Indie Noir Presents: Art Noir, Melanated Masterpiece Art Exhibit and many, many more.
Tiffany has been commissioned to create pieces that celebrate her client's, their friends and family. She take's each client along the journey of each creation. While she does not render portraits, she creates beautiful works that are inspired by the subject.
